Step 5: Care Worker Greeting
On the day that your live-in care starts, your Care Manager will arrive with the care worker to introduce everyone and stay for a few hours to make the settling in procedure as comfortable as possible. It is important that when your Care Manager leaves both the customer and the care worker are happy and settled.
Your Care Manager will phone the customer the next day to check everything is going well, followed by a brief visit a few days later.
Your Care Manager will be your main point of contact should you have any further questions or feedback about their support plan and the level of care we provide. Their personal contact number, including an out of hours and emergency phone number, will be written in your support plan.
